Hey there! There’s a lot of new people here on the IG, so I thought “let’s get to know each other a bit better!” I’m an Advisor + Mentor to creative, driven, professional womxn who are on their leading edge. Womxn like you who want it all, but YOUR version of “all.” Using my training in positive psychology, success habits, the history of Power, functional nutrition, nature mysticism, dance, and so much more, I’ve been a coach for over 15 years… I’ve developed a special reputation for supporting smart, successful womxn who are driven by authenticity, growth, and know they have personal healing to do before they can see the bigger professional growth they desire. My coaching style is to ask powerful questions, and offer small, delightful experiments based on your answers: What do I desire? What is my body telling me right now, and what does “She” need? How can I feel satisfied + joyful in my body and my life? What are my strengths + how can I use them to be of service in a healing, powerful way? What’s my version of “having it all” and how can I take a step to creating it today? What is the best way to live? What do I do about my anger, anxiety, depression? How can I deal with the difficult situations I face? Who can I ask for support or perspective? What am I not seeing? What can I learn from difficult moments? Am I having fun? How can I make Now more joyful? Am I being authentic? Is this true for me? The work, in private or my yearly, small Vitality Mentorship group, we explore how best to realign your behaviors with who you are so you live + work from a place of joyful engagement that fills you with purpose, meaning, and fully-expressed potential. So you’re not just making a great living, but living a great life. This work is brave, honest, joyful, and important. I truly believe that the world will be a better place as more and more Womxn like you get what they want. And when we feel deserving of our desires. I hope to get to know more of you, and welcome you to reach out when you’re ready to connect about coaching with me and if it’s a good fit for you. . . . #

This little birdie is doing his own thing... I have always loved crows. Saw a picture of a crow hanging upside down while his buddies just looked at him, like “dude.” My grandmother + I were obsessed with them, reading books about how smart + playful they can be. This watercolor + 20 more will be up for auction Friday-Tuesday, proceeds donated to a charity that support Native American voting rights + cultural activism.

If you believe fairness, Democracy + justice were trampled by cheating, lying + racism this election, this is action you can take:: @staceyabrams was cheated, as were the People of Georgia. Now is not the time to give up or get complacent. If you’re a white woman like me, (especially if you’re a coach, of any kind) it’s time to learn the roots of this, our place in white supremacy + follow these Black women anti-racism educators: @catriceology @iamrachelricketts @rachel.cargle I have learned from all 3 of them, paid for their work, attended workshops both in person + virtual. And will continue to do so. Why? Can’t you just listen to a workshop online and “get it?” I don’t believe so. And I thought I had a clue, going into this anti-racism work. REALLY: I had enough credits in college to have separate degrees in both Women’s Studies + what was called Ethnic Studies, if they had been separate degrees. (They were both lumped under History then) When I first attended Catrice’s weekend workshop, I quickly realized I had A LOT to learn. And every day, that truth makes itself clear again. If you want to make a difference in the next election, and care about the BIPOC (Black or Brown + Indigenous People Of Color) in your life, or are realizing, like me, that you are ignorant on too many levels, follow these women, pay them for their work, and keep showing up. Be committed. As Catrice said in a must-read Mashable article: “You don’t take three workshops, read seven books, and now you’re an ally," says Jackson. "It is a constant, deliberate, intentional way of being, every single day and every single moment, until you take your last breath."

Growing up in a family split apart by suicide, divorces + mental illnesses, I developed an incredible knack for being a chameleon: I could (+ still can) anticipate what other people need +want, often before they do. It’s a protective skill set that worked really well growing up, but as I tried to become my own woman, I found that other people’s expectations + rules drowned out my truth +desires. 🔮In my 18 years of coaching + supporting womxn in their journey to growth, fulfillment + healing, I’ve discovered that we need our own magic mirrors to help us see, define + create our own truth. 🔮I’ve started to call this process the 5 Magic Mirrors. 🔮These are five simple lenses + questions to help you get curious, clear + confident in knowing what is true for yourself. 🔮 These mirrors are the pillars that hold up the foundations of my work as a mentor for womxn. 🔮When you have these mirrors, labeled as pillars below, to help you reflect honestly, non-judgmentally, + with deep compassion, then you begin to see your strengths, feel bolder + get out of overwhelm: 1. Nourishment - the nourished womxn enjoys living in her body, feeds herself effortlessly, feels resourced, supported, healthy, vital + satisfied. 🔥Ask yourself: Does this feel nourishing? 2. Connection - she feels engaged + immersed in her work, love, friendships, authentic relationships, she clearly communicates. 🔥 Ask: Does this feel authentic? Does this feel connected for me? 3. Desire - she is clear on what she wants, has meaning in her life + is unashamed in her pursuit of her dreams. 🔥 Ask: Is this what I truly desire, or is it a “should”? 4. Trust - she knows herself, owns + uses her strengths, has clearly held boundaries, honors her instincts + intuition + feels Life supports her in taking risks. Her accomplishments feels valuable + unique to her. 🔥 Ask: Am I trusting myself? 5. Play - Finally, this woman laughs often, enjoys more positive emotions, knows how to grow them, is in touch with her creative fire, + enjoys regular moments of joy, feels deserving of fun, always. 🔥 Ask: Is this fun for ME? by Me

I feared groups of women most of my life. Coming up to my 40th birthday (3 years ago), I realized that years of “mean girl” gossip + the normalized culture of harsh judgement brought up anxiety, suspicion + fear. When I finally started to plan the birthday parties (there were several) I realized most of my friends didn’t know each other: I preferred 1:1 playtime with friends. Since then I’ve made it my mission and purpose to gather womxn, admit my fear (it’s still there at times), and purposefully create experiences where we support, raise up, and fiercely love each other. This is how we heal our inner demons. It’s how we feel brave enough to take risks. It’s how we gather our courage to put our voice and work out there in a bigger way. It’s how we thrive. In community. 🔮 Last night I invited womxn to join me at @jilllindseystore for the Bold Brave Brooklyn Business Babes networking evening. It was lovely + amazing. Souls were revealed, asks made + resources shared. New friendships, even. 🔮 Even the “very successful” CEOs admitted their struggle with asking for help. Founders admitted feeling overwhelmed with unseen challenges + a lack of support. The Vitality Mentorship is my group coaching program for driven, creative, professional women who want to have it all, without struggling to DO it all: health, success, love, freedom, creativity, adventure. We do want it all. We just can’t get it without changing the systems we are currently operating in. Examining our habits + thinking patterns +taking moments to reflect + transform how we show up. Applications open now in my profile.

Me and some Queens, by Warhol. (And a troll - swipe over) Yesterday was *interesting* ... experienced several womxn dissing other womxn, needlessly + energetically shitty. Then another womxn came at me on my post about living with + healing from a narcissist... then tagged my husband telling him “good luck.” (And dissing my use of womxn instead of women - being inclusive matter to me, but triggered this person) 🔥 Finally, I got to hang with another group of womxn that was supportive, loving, and celebrated each other fiercely. SOOOOO... what did I get out of all this? Queens don’t tear each other’s crowns off. Did Dolly? Did Aretha? Debbie? No. They lift each other up. With the holidays coming, Food + Family take on a whole new level of “forced family fun” for some of us: Maybe you’ve been body shamed + judged by relatives... or “teased” (aka bullied) for your special dietary needs ... or just get so stressed out by the drama that overeating becomes a life raft. I FEEL YOU! 🍑 You’re not alone. 🍑 Instead of being one of the greatest pleasures on earth, food becomes tainted by the mashup of familial “suffering obligations of love.” And on today’s episode of I dove into all this + more with friend + foodie @leanne.ely. 🎧 Link in my bio. Embracing our sexuality. OWNING our desires for physical pleasure. Finding FREEDOM in our bodies. This is the path of the women who has it all. .. her version of ALL. How can we find deep joy + satisfaction if we are ashamed of our bodies? How can we feel confident + powerful in the boardroom if we feel unsafe to be sexy? Our creativity + joy + productivity are all connected to our self-pleasure + self-love. That’s my speciality, dear heart. Let’s talk... sexual satisfaction for the professional, creative womxn is a juicy part of my life’s work.

I painted this get well card for Ruth Bader Ginsberg...struggled with this piece for hours. It doesn’t match my vision, but I wanted to share it anyway... because what’s perfect? A story about Thank You + Get Well letters... When I was in college, my bike was stolen. A cop helped track it down within a day, and I got it back. My dad told me that a letter of thanks to the police chief would go in that cop’s file and might help them someday. I wrote it and never forgot: a good turn deserves our gratitude. 🏵 Justice Ginsburg broke her ribs this week, but she’s back at work. She ⚖️inspires⚖️ me. If your hero is still alive, a profound act could be to reach out to them. Tell them. Thank them. If it’s your Dad, an auntie, a writer, friend or Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a note of appreciation and what they mean to you will fill your heart + inspire you. And theirs, too. Even if they’re no longer living, write them a note of what they mean to you. [It is a proven positive psychology gratitude tool] 🏵 Happy Sunday, sweet ones. . . . .

I made a thing: Actually I make A. LOT. of things. (It’s not a *lack* of ideas that’s the problem, am I right?) On today’s episode of Her Rules Radio 🎙 (wait - you don’t subscribe? You haven’t listened in a while!? Go update your @itunes womxn!) 🔮 Today I’m f.i.n.a.l.l.y sharing something I’ve been working on for months - it’s foundational to the work I do with women. (HINT: Mirror, mirror, on the wall!) And it’s about the trip I took a couple weeks ago with two women who are on my soul squad. (Yeah, I just made that up... laying here in bed with a head cold - But now it’s a thing. ) Ok, enough from me. I need more tea. ♥️🎙🔮🎙♥️ Go listen to today’s show! This. Is. Not. Over. Georgia + Florida are STILL counting ballots and there is massive white-supremacy-voter-suppression happening in real time. Keep up the pressure, good people! Give to both campaigns @staceyabrams @andrewgillum - links in their profiles. I just gave $10 to each. We have to pay to make this election fair, and pay to make things right. ART BY @monachalabi

Nothing in this world takes the place of persistent action + commitment to your soul’s true desires. Talent isn’t enough. Everyone has a story about getting an idea that they never do anything with or give up on. I have a few of them. You probably do, too. More often than not, people stop trying. In the face of challenges, both external and internal, we give up on ourselves. Don’t stop. Stay with it. At the end of it all, things we regret are the thugs we didn’t do — the chance not taken, the opportunity you didn’t seize, the idea you didn’t stay with. Take it. Seize it. Stay with it. Give yourself more reasons to stay with it than your b!tch bra!n can think of to stop. I’ve almost given up on myself a hundred times: health, career, love. I took the food route instead of the Rx. I went into debt to launch my business (and relaunch my business). I took many, many chances on finding love again. Self-published, self-started, and asked for help. Again and again, dipping into the infinite well of creative love from this Universe. Prayed. Broke down. And the process of failures and successes will continue. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🔥 Join me for my special training tomorrow at 1pm ET: UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVE CRAVINGS: Get Clear, Get Inspired, Make It Happen.
