Always appreciative of all my emotions throughout the year. Thank you all for making my year with the release of my book! I hope it helps reach everyone who needs it! I don't fully believe in resolutions, but I do hope that I work on being better at entrepreneuring and balancing my yoga practice in the new year! #HappyNewYear #NYE #biggalyoga #2017bestnine
It was such a blessing to go on this #nobodyshameatsea cruise with @whitneywaythore @fyeahmfabello @samanthastudio @kelsey__olson @sarahsapora @hopeleigh and all of Whitney's crew and followers. I seriously just got to teach yoga at the front of the ship for some morning sunrise yoga! 🌅🕉 So happy and honored to be able to expose many of the group to their first yoga class. Hope it makes them want to learn more and continue practicing! If you don't already, follow and support all these awesome ladies for their body positivity and self love through modeling, sex expertise, dance, talks, and photography. 📸 by @hopeleigh and @samanthastudio @nobodyshameatsea
Feeling alive and amongst the living again. Sinus infection i got was no joke and went hard on me, where I couldn't spend time with family during the holiday or go to Joshua Tree. Still did everything I could to make sure I got well this week. First time being back on my mat in so long, it feels so nice to move 😌. Also I realized that this Saturday I head out to Miami for the the No Body Shame cruise with @whitneywaythore 😲! Came sneaking up! Looking forward to hanging out with some babes, teaching yoga, dancing, adventuring around Honduras, Belize, and Mexico 😎! If you are going on the trip, look forward to meeting you!
We are getting our fence redone by our neighbors, so practice in the park it is. I've been nursing my wrist pain from some unknown reason after I came back from my trip, and shoulder still from back in July. Glad my body felt good enough to practice a little, with my wrist being able to support me. Small practices still go a long way, so always be appreciative of how ever long your practice may be. I've also still been loving these @KiwamiGreens , so if you'd like to try them out for yourself, use the code AUTUMN09 for 10% off! If you are also a new customer, you will get an extra 25% off your purchase of some Kiwami Greens! #ad #kiwamigreens #prebiotic #nongmo
Just getting back from my Los Angeles trip and i am exhausted. I've been driving all over, walking, and standing at the Disneyland Parks and Twitchcon. Now that i have finally gotten back my body feels wrecked, so some rest, Kiwami Greens, and yoga sounds great now. If you'd like to try out some @KiwamiGreens yourself use promo code AUTUMN09 for 10% off, and if you are a first time customer you get an extra 25% off! Pretty good deal for some delicious matcha! #ad #kiwamigreens #nongmo #prebiotics
To be honest I've been struggling with myself and what yoga actually means to me again. I talk about yoga, am surrounded by yoga, but I felt I have lost with what i'm doing because it doesn't feel like before. I'm also a person that once i feel pressure about something it feels easier to run away from it. This has happened before when it came to my art, and what brought me more to my yoga practice. Surprisingly what is bringing me back from this feeling is from others I have been meeting at the yoga conferences @accessibleyoga and the @eastmeetswest_sf . Jeff of East meet West had me on a panel this Saturday of teaching and transformation, which I was hesitant to talk about. We chatted on the phone about it and he let me know I could just be honest about my feelings, because I definitely don't have to be perceived as someone who knows what they are doing all the time and have this expectation even as a teacher. Entrepreneuring is no joke at how much it takes and social media and yoga is an interesting thing to balance. Not sure where I wanted to go with this post, but felt I needed to finally say this and get part of it off my chest. I still want to be here because I know the the power of giving representation and creating community for all of us. Just want to be honest and let people know I'm just one person still understanding my own self, while trying to maintain my practice, and pass that on. It's always the things you tell your students, that you need to also retain yourself. . On a fun note, pic from the #colorfactory in the blue balloon room! 💙
