Ohhh, leg day. How I love you so! I needed this workout badly, and it burned so good the entire time. Whew! — So here are two of my favorite exercises to do post-workout to really burn those legs to fatigue! ••• PLATFORM LATERAL SQUATS - begin the exercise with one foot on the step facing longways and the opposite foot on the floor. Perform a squat and on the way up, push off of the step & floor and land softly on the other side of the step to perform a squat. Repeat. Side to side is 1 rep. Perform 12-15 reps. BALL SIT + SQUAT JUMP - Stand directly in front of a wall ball or medicine ball. Perform a squat, making sure your bottom touches the ball, and then explode into a jump squat. Repeat. Sit to jump squat is 1 rep. Perform 12-15 reps. — If your thighs aren’t burning after 2 or 3 sets of this, I don’t know what to tell ya lol No step platform or wall/medicine ball? No problem? The lateral squats can easily performed on the floor without the platform. Find some items to stack for those sit + jump squats - shoe boxes, books, etc, or use a step on a set of stairs in your home! No excuses! Do work! . . . . . motivation
