Didn't realize that I've more than 10 in my fridge 😅so I made most of 🥒 into Jaruk Timun Manis ( ). You can make this minimalist Bruneian by 1. Prepare the by bringing 💦, sugar & a little salt to boil. Simmer until all sugar is dissolved & let the brine completely cool down. 2. Add in white into the cool brine. The brine should be sweet & vinegary but not syrupy 3. Put 🥒 (deseeded & sliced but you can use whole 🥒 when using ), red 🌶 & sliced red onion/shallot into an airtight, grease-free plastic/glass jar 4. Put a weight on 🥒 slices before pouring the brine over & 🥒 slices should be completely immersed in the brine to avoid mold formation 5. For initial , place in a warm shaded area for at least 24hrs or until 🥒's skin turns pale yellowish-green before storing it in a fridge. Best served chilled 😋 #timun 🇧🇳
