By helping your body breakdown and digest nutrients better. * Cuts down on sugar cravings. To name a few. But fermenting food also brings out more flavour. Take miso for example it is fermented for up to 7 years in Japan and is actually one of the best fermented food out there. Miso helps improve digestion, has a positive effect on blood pressure and has anti-cancer effect and is a good source of nutrients including copper, manganese and Vitamin K. And miso soup isn’t the only thing you can do with it. 🍜Just don’t let it boil over when you prepare it to preserve its health bene fit. This apricot miso glazed pork was delicious this evening.
