They don't even want know about their misery.« This is what someone told us in Sri Lanka. Many people in this beautiful area are suffering from chronic kidney disease. One of the reasons for this is poisoned groundwater by agrochemicals. The PINA Organisation is helping people to obtain access to clean drinking water. Watch the video we made on Vimeo. This Sri Lankan dancing group came by to celebrate the opening of the new water purification plant. Watch them dance on Vimeo. Link on profile. 🇱🇰 The reverse osmosis plant now produces 10,000 liters of healthy drinking water every day. In this area there are many people with chronic kidney disease. Affected are mainly poor farming families from rural areas. One of the reasons is polluted drinking water. The water plant is a project by PINA Organisation Sri Lanka and was also funded by feedback communication.

This marching band came to play at the opening ceremony of the water purification plant in the school of Minneriya. Watch them in the video ... link on profile. 🇱🇰 The reverse osmosis plant was, amongst others, funded by feedback communication from Germany and was opened on 9th of November. The plant now will supply a school of 800 students and 1.500 villagers with 10,000 liters clean drinking water every day.
